saturday's full moon mania...

again...from far out to sea, to friday night's moon light arrival, the players: all 4-6 foot of them made their saturday morning debut...but the real time theater players started their performance with the sun high in the sky and el rincon del mar feeling the pull of those low, low winter tides -this time of year- and the point 'con' surfers delved into the kinetic and came away with draining long lines and a beach devoid of any sand that was on loan from the fall spirits, and made for quit a display...and as the diming stage light, el sol, put to rest the saturday matinee, la luna , the evening stage light, rose over rincon mountain peak and lite "live, saturday night" ocean as well as the chumash celebration in the reeds of a long lost rincon point from the past...
a banner season continues...

And the hits just keep on coming. 9 foot tidal swings, swells from the right angle, and even high tide "off" sessions. Good times, good sir. Good times.

Just to throw in my own personal reality check, I paddled out Saturday about 2 and snagged an epic way OH set wave from way outside to "Angie Reno" on the freeway, nobody even tried to take off. After that it got inconsistent with the tide rushing out and way super crowded and I almost ended up paddling in. Oh well, can't win em all.
