I just sold my "old" surfboard. It was the first board I owned. It was custom made by Dave Johnson, and it had my original artwork on it.
The guy who bought it was really nice and so I feel good about it going to a good home. I hope I see him surfing on it some day!
Farewell dear surfboard. Parting is such sweet sorrow. :(:)

I love my new board equally as much as I loved the old one! OK, I admit it, I love the new board waaaaayyyyy more!! I've had it for about 7 or 8 months, and it's part of my family now....just like the dogs, just not as cuddly!

What did you do different this time around?
I just ordered a new one from DJ. Can't wait, can't wait!

New board is fatter, wider, and has different shaped rails, and not as much rocker. It's easier to paddle and catch waves with than the old board.
What did you change this time around?

flatter wider nose, rounded pin tail instead of square, thinner overall and less glass. I kept the 9'0" length. It works well for me around here.
