Wow! You said you never surfed Pavones. The place is obviously world class. Sort of like but way better than Malibu. I got it one day DOH but a couple of those waves here look even better. The southern Hemi beckons but my 1 year old is not gonna be ready this year. Ain't goin nowhere without her.

Goleta Point Buoy is reading 1.0 ft. Does it get lower than that? I see barely a ripple out there.
I hate it when my wetsuit is completely dry. Means I'm not getting out enough.
That's a beautiful wave in that video.

you said "flat" russell so my vivid imagination took the cue and there we were bumbin' on the way to some for off place...help considerably by the pura vida!

Dreamy wave indeed, caught it a number of years ago for 2+ weeks betwixt OH to DOH+...always had to keep a few extra colons in your boardies for a cerveza or two at The Cantina during the long hike back up to La Boca del Rio. Siiiiiiiick fun. Makes ya glad to be a goofy!!
