Hello Goletagirl, surfed with you a couple times this past summer out at Campus. That is not an easy wave to practice getting to the nose, too square. Try the break inside towards goleta beach, walls are longer there and more consistent when working.
Keep at it, before you know...ten piggies over

I've only been surfing a little more than a year. I keep having 'AHA!' moments, but I haven't been able to cheat my toes up there. Every time I get close, I sink it.
I love seeing girls (or anyone for that matter) with style. Makes me want to find my own.

I was so excited that all I've wanted to do is keep trying it. The surf hasn't cooperated much this week though.
I was so stoked I had to tell a total stranger who was surfing next to me.
Here's hoping to some waves this week/end!
