Here's the 4th spoon I've built so far, this one still needs to be sanded at this point, the photos were taken just after the hotcoat, hence the waxy looking finish.
this one has come together really nicely, a little bit of work here and there on it over the past month + has proven to be a good method to keep my nerves un-fried...they are labor intensive to say the least, but the enjoyment from building one is beyond words:

oooh, that looks so fun.
Everytime I see your logo, my brain does a disconnect and I see a guy doing a soul arch on the end of the board instead of a pelican.
Kind of like the picture of the old woman/young woman thing.

That new kneeboard on your blog looks like it might be sweet for a finless. Ever come up with a finless design?

haven't tried one yet, but edge type kneeboards do go well with smaller fins, some down to 7" or so from what ive heard from riders...really narrow tips on them too, lots of release and side slipping for steep drops!
