Hey guys, sorry to post this, but i could use some help.
Sunday Morning after a few really fun ones, I was hit by another surfer. I was paddling back into the lineup after one of my best waves of the season too. ok, the details.
around 8:30 AM sunday. My board has two really deep fin gashes. one all the way to the stringer. the guy that hit my board is a middle aged asian/pacific islander/or japanese guy with a long pony tail. he told me would pay for the damages, but i didn't his info.
is this you? do you know who i am talking about? any help please, can't afford to fix my board....:(
i can provide a paypal address for payment.
el nino and offshores for all in 2010.

I believe that you are talking about a local named Ernest Parra. He is a physical trainer.

I would think that when you enter the water you surf at your own risk.

Well Grinder, according to SURF ETIQUETTE:
"Always do your best to make good on any damage caused by your surfboard to someone else's board by arranging for a repair job."

I never saw that book of rules. I hope you can get your board fixed and keep chargeing.
I think this is your guy. Not a great pic, but he is a goofy-footer, was probably riding an
aqua-colored longboard. He has long hair, but usually wears a hood.
